The upper end of this FB range

The FB250-4A combines the range’s highest published prime output with a 7.98-litre engine. For a larger commercial or industrial project, establish distribution, protection, access and fuel needs alongside the generator selection, then agree the commissioning scope.

The 7.98-litre Leyland engine operates at 1,500 rpm. Its standard equipment listing includes a 480-litre fuel tank and 400 A circuit breaker. Our team can review how these fit your load, required running time and installation.

What to establish before ordering

  • Required duty, operating hours and actual load profile
  • Motor starting, load steps and voltage-dip limits
  • Site location, climate, access and available space
  • Changeover, distribution, protection and earthing scope
  • Noise criteria and fuel autonomy requirements
  • Applicable emissions certification and final documentation

CPCB IV+ and your project

This model is listed as CPCB IV+ compliant. That classification must be checked against your destination and intended use; it is not a statement of UK/EU Stage V approval.

For an automatic standby application, confirm the engine-start interface and transfer sequence. A conventional ATS introduces a changeover interruption. Tell us about any loads that require UPS support or another continuity solution.

Running time depends on usable fuel capacity and the actual load. The listed tank volume alone does not establish a guaranteed number of operating hours.
